We will be there at the local service. I hope I don't sleep in. They also do a breakfast afterwards but we will likely come home and make bacon and eggs.

My daughter's school is having a sleepout under the stars tonight to help them understand the "Anzac Experience". They are then being woken up in time to travel to the local RSL to sing at the dawn service. I said it's not a real Anzac Experience unless they're going to be made dig trenches, fill them with water, and try to get to sleep in them while people shot at them! All I got was a giant groan and an eye roll (I also think I heard her refer to me as a tad "unnecessary").
Still, Lest We Forget....

Sorry, I mass kudoed everyone
My youngest daughter is safely back from her 4 month deployment to the Middle East just in time for Anzac Day - I think she's onto her second row of medals lol
She is heading to Port Macquarie to support the ceremony there but I will be stuck here in cold wet Adelaide - will do a local Dawn Service and maybe a bevvy or two at the local RSL
Yes warm clothes and a brolly will be the order of the day
