Come and have a cuppa, share your joys, and vent your problems with other people who understand.
I don't know what normal is anymore

Oh well, I think Autism Victoria still has a great website. ๐
You don't have to be crazy to be here, but it helps.

I saw this thread on the old C/W but never had a use for it until now.
My 12 yr old niece (who I have custody of) has just been diagnosed with Aspergers, amongst other things.
Any helpful hints for good books/websites or your own first hand hints, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much

What a pain in the boom this is. I have no idea who is who unless you put your name down.

In my opinion, the best start is Tony Attwood's Asperger Syndrome: a Guide for Parents & Professionals. I found it in my local library. Tony also has a website http://www.tonyattwood.com.au/
I really like the Autism Victoria Website, there's a lot of good info on there even if you aren't in Vic.http://www.autismvictoria.org.au/home/
And we are always here if you need to vent :-x

Goodmorning Lisa :-x
I just have a quick look to the left to see who is who, but I am used to that from elsewhere. ๐
