Come and have a cuppa, share your joys, and vent your problems with other people who understand.
I don't know what normal is anymore

Just found this post and am hoping that its ok to stick my head in
every so often?
My young autistic man is now 21 and as gorgeous as ever ๐
My house is often a get together place for him and his 3 aspergers mates, and believe me that's always interesting ๐ ๐ Hehehe.
Anyhoo : Have just started to read from the start, so will take me a while to catch up.
Just wanted to say Hi to everyone.
Cheers
Paws

The Reverend Mother has gone home and I managed to survive - just. I had the flu while she was here, so it remains to be seen if we are responsible for spreading Swine Flu to Hamilton, NZ :^O
Lovely to see newbies. ๐
Also nice to hear about a 21 yr old with Aspie mates, it gives me hope for my boy :-x
Chit chat, I am so sorry, I forgot to ask Drew's teacher about the paed :8} I know she spent a long time working & living in Wodonga and one of her friends up there has an autistic child, so I am sure they know someone. I will ask her when school goes back if I don't bump into her during the holidays.
You don't have to be crazy to be here, but it helps.

hi to the new guys, welcome and good luck with catching up on posts, takes forever..hahah
little man came home today and crashed on the couch, must have had a big day at school.
lisa, re jackaroo, do you have any links to that? also, wonder if we should let our wayward lads meet up sometime? seeing as they are both good at heart, ie, no drugs alchohol, just super bad attitudes..lol..

i lived in small flats for many years, and i discovered you can get a portable dishwasher, it takes one whole dinner setting, they sit on the benchtop and attatched to the taps, so no plumbing,
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. i loved mine, i have upgraded to a big one now that i have the room, but loved my little one,
