Oh had to take her as I had to look after my other DD who needed to be at school. Its a 10 hour round trip for us, I think he spent about 20 - 30 mins.

OH is just devastated at the treatment. Anyway I guess all we can do is get a good nights sleep and I'll try to get hold of my pead in the morning if she is around.

Sorry to complain I guess I am just knocked for six over it all. Anyway I had better go to bed and try and get some sleep. Thanks Kylie for your kind words and everyone else:-x

Chitty, her symptoms are those of psychosis, but he needs more than a 30 minute appt to make that diagnosis definite. The carp about homeschooling is ignorance and suggestions of abuse just ludicrous.

You have always had your kids well supported by various professionals, let me say that when I went through a very nasty Family Law situation a few years back and my ex accused me of all sorts of things, the fact there were consistent and long term medical records with the paed and the GP and everyone else meant he was pretty much laughed out of court and I got sole custody. I tell you this as an example of how that medical and therapy history will stand you in good stead if he does do anything.

Please don't let it get you down, although I know how hard it is 😞

chitty, no one minds if you need to vent. it is not complaining, and as dolls said, that is what we are here for. friends - even cyber ones- support each other in any way they can. I wish I could make it better for you chitty, but you know what is the truth, so hold your head high and be proud. this is just another one of those bumps that we have to get through before finding the solution. having been on this roundabout for many years, I am sure that this is not the first time that you have had to deal with such a complete moron - I mean - how can he come to those conclusions in 30 minutes????. you know that in a few weeks, he will just be a bad experience, so stay positive and strong - your family needs you right now....... You are the cement that has gotten them this far chitty. be proud of what you have achieved. I would never have coped with what you have had to deal with, I am one person in awe of your committment to your family. Everything will be OK.

I really appreciate your support. I've contacted my pediatrician and emailed all the referrals etc. You should see it thou guys it borders on nasty. In all my years of dealing with the medical profession this has left me completely stunned.

Anyway I will let you know what happens

Ok update, Paed called and she is not all concerned in fact she was lovely and very understanding. She has made some recommendations which I am following through with and told me to ignore other advice i have received as its not in touch with where we are at.

Thank God for a decent Paed. I certainly have learnt my lesson, always be very careful who you take your kids to because if they don't see the whole picture they can do more damage than good.

now i can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief
