Re: **AUTISM / ASPERGERS SUPPORT GROUP**

((((((hugs))))) Doll,
Two of my boys are 'different'.I have heard them say similar things.I understand how it hurts a Mum to know that her kids are hurting.
From what I've read here It is obvious that your boy and the other the children and Grandchildren of other posters here have the best chance possible of finding their way in the world and achieving all that they can possibly achieve.

I can only offer you (((hugs)) and send you strength and hope that the hurt and the hurdles that you all face from time to time can be worked through and that things become easier for you all.

The children of this thread are supported and loved very much by caring and involved Parents and Grandparents.I hope that you all find the support, comfort and strength that you need too.

Re: **AUTISM / ASPERGERS SUPPORT GROUP**

Thanks girls :-x Poor little guy punishes himself more than anyone else ever could or would. He has the most loving gentle soul, but he can't always controll the meltdowns. Sometimes he can stop it, but it takes all his strength and he doesn't always have time to stop himself before he snaps.
I had a talk to him about stimming yesterday, he is a dancer and hand flapper, so its not little barely noticable movements. He didnt even know he does it. He used to grunt and chant aswell, but doesn't do that as much anymore.

I don't know what normal is anymore

Doll, and Bella, >> :-x << to you both

C has had several suspensions to the point of not going for months at a time; sometimes they've place him somewhere safe and once I was asked to s*****n him- its very very hard. As they become more self aware of the impact on others it does incrementally get better, and there are programs for teens and young adults- try to take one day at a time.
