Morning all,

Firstly I found the Dora egg and clock Dolly, just before they arrived yesterday afternoon, phew!! After much egg and chocolate exchanging (plus late birthday and Xmas gifts from middle son and partner who missed my daughter and family at Xmas due to conflicting work schedules) we had a lovely afternoon and evening.

However 2 things happened - Mr 15, being his usual stressed self when the family are all here at once (he loves them dearly but usually escapes constantly to his room for some space - unfortunately his room was occupied by Xbox playing nieces) had a slight altercation with my youngest g'daughter (aged just 9) because he didn't want to help her with a computer game; his oldest brother then picked up his new phone to check it out and he lost the plot a bit, snatched it back and yelled at him not to touch his things etc, so I had some smoothing over to do - Oldest son does understand because he has so many of the same issues, but was still upset ๐Ÿ˜ž

Then my daughter informed me that her youngest - my middle g'daughter, (just turned 10) is being homeschooled from next term - she is apparently excluded and bullied by the other girls, she spends most of her out of class time in the library, escapes to her room to be by herself when they have visitors etc (you all know the story). Mr 15 has been saying for ages - she is like me - there is something really different about her etc. So she is being enrolled in Distance Ed, which is where Mr 15 went for 3 years. I mentioned AS to my daughter but of course she was immediately up in arms - my daughter hasn't got that etc etc.... what can you do? at least she is in a position to homeschool, with her partner earning very good money, and being back at uni herself this year. The poor wee mite was in tears when we were talking about it, she is just so unhappy at school ๐Ÿ˜ž

Aside from that the weekend has been quite pleasant ๐Ÿ™‚

Lisa , I love that dwarf cartoon - it is absolutely true lol!!

cheers
Rae

It's good your daughter has time & is going to try homeschool.

It would be good if she could get your GD assessed as your hunch is probably right, but you can't force your daughter.

I have a friend who acknowledges her boy is probably on the spectrum but refuses to get him assessed. She will "just copy everything I do with Cam." ๐Ÿ˜ž

Something my beloved boy did yesterday.

I was really tired yesterday afternoon easter sunday so I fell asleep around 2.00.

My parents were watching my boys and I didnt hear about this until later on that evening.

The easter bunny brought him some eggs not the tiny ones but the next size up he had a whole bowl of them.
Well he decided to take it upon himself to share his easter eggs and put one in everyones letter boxes for them in the street and anyone he saw he just handed them one.

Ohhhh god love him :^O

Some things these kids do just puts a smile on my face. :-x
I wouldnt change him for the world.
