retro - I get what you mean by "forced" if you know what to look for you can still see that it is a learned process - as they get older though and have more practice, the steps get closer together.

One of the programs we did for facial recognition is back there^^^^^^ it's the one by renee beaumont - was called JR detective - but it is something else now - something like secret agents - but the link is back there...

nouveau, :-x that seems to come up so often, that there is something that changes?
Someone told me recently that the things we worry about would never even be something she thinks about......so I have been trying to remember that.

Az, it is indeed a radical change; nobody knows exactly what happens, though he was emotionally 'gone' at two after being such a bright, giggly baby. And yes you are right- they don't form classical attachments (except for routines)- some sort of buffer mechanism- it helps.

Bella I was the same last night and have been more so that way lately, seems that we have to experience the emotions/frustrations for our little ones as well :-x

Thank you nouveau, HUGS to you as well:-x I know we all have times when things just seem completely over whelming, our hearts ache for our kids and the difficulties they face. It's such an emotional roller coaster at times that's for sure.

But anyway the sun is shining and out of my lounge window I can see the snow on the mountains, such a beaut sight. If anything days like this remind me to take a deep breath and appreciate the beauty all around me.

That information is wrong, it depends upon who refers you. I am sure they put this on website so every Tom, Dick and Harry doesn't ring up.

well, you are very lucky then because that information is not incorrect, according to his admin.

Hi Karen

Thanks for your message and unfortunately, Tonyโ€™s clinic books for new referrals are closed at his Petrie practice (and have been for the past 3 years) due to a very large existing patient base. Tony only has 200 appointments available each year and we currently have over 3,000 patients. As I can see that your granddaughter is in Queensland, I suggest that you contact the following professionals regarding diagnostic assessments:
(insert a list of contacts which I have deleted but happy to share if anyone needs them)

I hope the above information is useful to you and your family.

depends upon who referred you, aparently our current psych is good friends with him so it probably helps. If you contacted him yourself you would have no hope.
