Bella, I don't know if you saw Catalyst on the ABC this week, about psycopathy and callous-unemotional traits? If not, you can probably watch it on the ABC TV website on iView. It was very interesting and I thought you might be interested in this article that looks at the overlap of ASD and C-U traits in some kids with ASD

Thanks for the relpies everyone...
Someone sent me a link to a facebook page and I messaged the guy and he said it could be depression...
It makes sense... kids show depression differently and I know he hates going to school, no bullies just plain boring...
I will go to the doctor and see what she says... as his marks are so bad it is worth looking into it. He has had anti depressants before and they worked wonders... I even got hugs and kisses after he started them...

Still beaming, son 5 got award at Prep assembly for improved behaviour! Shook hands with teacher & behaved so well (no mean feat, even I was getting fidgety after sitting 30 mins!) ............baby steps but happy at mo. Kind wishes to all on this thread.

Thanks Azure for posting that. I have only read the first few pages of the PDF file but its certianly interesting and does not surprise me in the least.
