My boy used a weight vest for a while, the OT told me to take it off him after 10 minutes use or he would get used to wearing it and seek even more pressure.

It seemed to work, he would wear it for 10 minutes, then I would take it off for 30, then put it back on for 10 etc.

THat system seems to me that it would work for a while, but the child would get used to it, then need even more pressure.

Not to mention how quick children grow too kiwi.

I know myself when I have a heavy blanket on at night, you do get used to it..........it's good to know that people out there are trying to find something to make it easier for children.

Morning all

Just went into my centrelink account and it shows Im getting the $600 on June 26th.Will come in mighty handy.Darcy needs new school shoes(3rd pair this year) and have to get him thick jacket for Bathurst excursion and gloves etc etc.I think he will go because his freind is going and they are in same class.Have asked teacher not to sit them together or no work will get done lol.
