Good on ya mapalarkin..........I have had many many disaproving looks from other parents over the years and unfortunately still get the looks. It has taken a long time for me to not be bothered as much as I used to be.

Remember that old saying..........hell haith no fury like a woman scorned.....well I'm like that if someone does the wrong by my children.

Kylie, it is up to you where you want to meet, I can meet you half way, but it might be good for you to come back to 'ol reddy for the day, show ypur daughter where you grew up (but it has changed alot in the 17 years ive been here) and to visit book in hand. 🙂 miss 2 is in daycare on thursdays.
mapalarkin, I am thinking about geting a tshirt or five 😛 but i probably wont wear them to ther school, I am very proud of my little boy, but bullys can read (well, most of them anyway), and i dont want to go getting joe and unwanted attention IYKWIM.

I can understand that dolly especially when it comes to bullies.My way of thinking is that if the mums see me wearing the shirt then instead of ignoring us mums they might actually come up to us and start asking questions and encouraging their kids to play with ours.I think that once people start to undersatnd maybe things might change a little.Maybe its just pipe dreaming at the moment.I want the mums to realise Im aproachable and they can talk to me about anything.

you are right mapalarkin, I might got some 'aspie pride' shirts, but not the my child has aspergers type ones, just the "someone with aspergers syndrome makes me proud everyday" type ones 🙂

That would be nice if it happened Mapalarkin, but I have noticed over the years a lot of other parents are hypocrites/two faced.

Sure they are nice to you, when they want something but as soon as you both part company that's when the other parent starts having a biatch or says horrible things about the person they were not too long ago talking to.

And sometimes these people have a whinge about the child too, then what usually follows is the children of the other parents will slowly start being mean to our kids because of what they hear.

I hope you don't go through this, because it is just awful.
