We have people spreading the hate for everyone from the PM to the disabled and refugees everyday.
Today we have Adam Goodes, who truly lived up to his name.

It is easier to blame the victim than admit that many Australians are racist isn't it?
Off course there are racist Aussies out there and IMHO that will never change,(you might reduce the number
but you will never have Aus as racist free as there are racists on both "sides").
There are many Aboriginals out there that are racist towards the "white" man but that seems to never get
brought up.
The best "slaggers" are the Aborigines,(their banter at each other leaves a "white" man way behind).
But when that's directed at a "white" man it's just as hurtful as racism,(it's a form of reverse racism).
Is that your argument??? You do know the mistreatment of aboringals throughout History. You're more likely to die young and earn less, be less educated.
I have come across those facts,
You do realise it's not the same thing right when you call someone white?
I said slagging,(if you had been around Aborigines you would know what I was talking about).
They use it as friendly banter to have a "go" at each other but the odd one will turn it around to abuse a
"white" person,(so it has a similarity to racism as the "white" person can't reply as they would be called a
racist)
It's a statement of fact not an argument,

I think that people who play competitive sports should not engage at all (during the game) with the spectators who support the other side.
They have no business doing so.
They are there to play their game and to put their best effort into winning for their team, for themselves and for their own supporters.
(ok, I'll admit that they also play to win so that their sponsors will favour them with absolute shedloads of money)
The way I see it is that if any football player engages with the opposition's supporters while on-field and playing their game, and does so in a provocative manner, like throwing imaginary spears at them and making obscene gestures, then that player is just begging the bagging and the booing they receive.
I can't make gun-shooting gestures at people in the street without being arrested and charged with a criminal offence.
The difference is only a question of technology, while the apparent intent remains the same.
If players don't want to be booed then don't engage at all (especially with displays of aggression) with supporters of the opposing team during a game.

Ya gotta love those swannies supporters this wekend though, showin he love for Goodsey, thats what footy is about ๐ I really hope he sees that and comes back to play out the season.
Aparently all of Australia is racist.
I've gotton so over how so many people are always chomping at the bit to call Aussies racist. It's rubbish imo. The majority are not racist (especially those involved in afl, indigenous players have been excelling since the very early 1900's). Not only that according to the AFL community website "aussie rules is the sport of choice for indigenous Australians" I'm sure Goodsey is aware of that...
We have actually become very altruistic. Much more so than our forefathers/ancestors. It's the media that sensationalizes this stuff all the time. Dont buy into it dj ๐

I would go one step further and say that "Everyone is racist to some extent."

I know you just mean that tongue in cheek, bob lol.
Everyone has the same opportunities in today's Australia. Some more than others, it's true, but that's not really all on the whitey side.

Just a walk down the street in Alice Springs will let you know who's racist and hate filled.
