My dishwasher broke down over a year ago and I just never bothered to replace it. I don't mind washing the dishes by hand but it is missed at times like Christmas and when you are doing a lot of food preparation for an occasion.
Anyway, I've been instructed to get a new one before the ex gets back next time. The poor dear doesn't like to sit there and watch me wash the dishes ๐
I really like the idea of the dishdrawer type but only the Fisher and Paykel one is available here and some of the reviews are not good. Does anyone else have the dishdrawer or can anyone recommend one that is really easy to load and does a good job?

I find that hard to believe.
What do you find hard to believe?

Hubby has never used the new dishwasher. That's only because I like to put things in a certain way...
it is a Bosch with a cutlery drawer and oodles of different cycles including a halfload water saver, and a quick cycle that's about half an hour from start to finish. Was told parts on expensive brands are expensive to replace so did get an extended warranty for five years. Was about 80$ extra so worth it. Normally, don't bother with extra warranties. Did price check for a good deal once I was certain what model I wanted, and made sure that they would take the old one away on delivery, too.
Had it for almost a year now, happy with it, it's very quiet. easy to load ๐

I have a bosch washing machine and dryer, they are great and very energy efficient. Mr B's brother has a bosch dishwasher and he highly recommends them.

No, I don't have a dish drawer type of dishwasher but I know a few people with them. The ones I know best love theirs. They've had no trouble and like that it takes a small load.
