Anti-Islam party to contest next election Australian Liberty Alliance

CONTROVERSIAL anti-Islam Dutch MP Geert Wilders has revealed that a new party defending western values will be launched in Australia.

In a Youtube message, Mr Wilders said he would visit Perth next year to help launch the

Australian Liberty Alliance, which he described as a freedom party.

“Many of you are disappointed with current political parties and have had enough of politicians who sell out western civilisation,” he said.

Mr Wilders, whose Freedom Party is popular in the Netherlands, was the subject of rowdy protests by far Left groups when he toured Australia in February last year.

His views were condemned by several political leaders and in some cases he had to find new meeting venues when worried hosts cancelled bookings.

His visit was sponsored by the Q Society, an Australian “Islam-critical” group which is organising an international seminar this weekend in Melbourne.

"I have often seen you ask that question................. and it comes across that way to me, a little arrogant and assuming that no one else can possibly understand it the way you do.

Maybe I am mistaken, hope so."

Yes, I understand why you might think that. it's just that I see so much written here by people who obviously have a limited knowledge of what they nonetheless,  posess a strong opinion about.

that's why I ask that question. only a few actually answer.

and the ones who do answer almost invariably reply "i have read a little of it" . . . enough however to maintain very strong opinions, apparently.

Re: Anti-Islam party to contest next election Australian Liberty Alliance

Talking to myself again, but anyway . . .

Islam (the Koran) teaches that women are worth less than men.

Women are to receive less than a man's due in inheritance, their witness is less than a man's by a factor of four in an Islamic  court of law,

they are to cover themselves when out in public because it is the womens' fault that they incite men to uncontrollable sexual attack otherwise.

This is what Islam teaches and no matter that our legal system is different, this is what Muslims are taught to believe. It is written.

Muslims are also taught to believe that their ultimate loyalty lies with their religion and their god and there is a Koranic verse which teaches that under certain circumstances lying is ok (taqiyya)

So, can we trust muslims to even speak the truth to us when we question them about what they believe when the Koran teaches that we are only infidels and to lie to us is acceptable if it furthers the cause of Islam?

It doesn't matter and it's not relevant to bring up examples from the old testament (the torah) or the new testament which also exemplify their consideration of women as being less than equal to men; that is just as abhorrent and worthy of condemnation.

I have seen apologists for islam claim that Muslim women wearing the niqab (that's the dress which includes the covering of the face) as being "traditional dress" when they don't even understand what that tradition signifies.

It is not quaint, it is not picturesque, it may be traditional but it is a symbol of oppression of women all the same, and those women who wear it and say they do so willingly (remember taqiyya?) cannot say anything else, lest they expose themselves to censure and even punishment from the men in their community.

I fully expect this post to be ignored as have others i have made stating similar arguments. That's ok, a few, a very few? might read it and then disengage their mouths and engage their brains and actually think about what I have said. and maybe do some reading?

We would like to think that Islam is a harmless sort of alternative to Christianity, equivalent in the way it sees the world and the people in it.

But it isn't. it's not like that.

and unless you have read the texts and understand and absorb the teachings, you may be fooled into thinking that Islam respects us the way we would like to respect it.

Islam has no respect for other religions. None. read the texts.

my post is too long and it contains arguments which perhaps few  here will appreciate unless from some sort of right-wing racist biased point of view, and I am not right-wing. I am someone who thinks about what is taught by religions and sometimes I am appalled by what I read.

If you want to argue with me on this subject, at least do your homework first, ok? 😉

The same could apply to a priest teaching the verses I quoted from the Bible.

This is such a simple analogy iapetus. I don't understand why you don't get it.

No point in arguing with someone that believes in god and religion they have already proven that they require no logic to live. In their fairy land of magical miracles and sky beings
