Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.

The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

How is everyone else going?

You would not be able to get there at the moment though Purple.....it is snowing.....Fern tree is very near Mount Wellington.

I am not going flashie......just wanted to know, looking up husband of one of my ancestors......he lived there and was well known.

Actually...try looking for his name on a site called Eheritage.... or the tasmanian archives.

yes have googled his name.......well known architect........

He and his wife travelled around the world several times........I went over to Adelaide last month to collect things left by my auntie who happened to be the niece of the woman married to this guy...........and I brought home the huge trunk that they had when travelling the world, it is in good condition with the name Alan Walker on it......he was the architect, married to one of my grandmothers sister.

Was his middle initial C....because there is an Alan C Walker award given out here in architecture.....might be worth looking into.
