You don;t need to know the exact date of the marriage to order the certificate.
All you need to fill in would be the names.......place....which was Prestwich Lancashire...1911

Punch....I am reading your email now.
I don;t know if I mentioned this before but.......I have a great great grandfather called Alexander who is also elusive......when I got some advice on which way to go searching for him I was advised to also look under the christian name of Sandy.......as many Alexander's were known as this.

Hi Flashie
I filled in the page to request the marriage certificate and the only thing I didn't complete was the *day*
I had the month and year, but it just kept going back to the page that said I have to complete the day.
It was late and I gave up in frustration. My next available time to
have another go, is Saturday, so I'll do it then.
Take Care 🙂 and have a nice evening.

sorry guys I'm going to be a pain in the proverbial but to save me going thru 81 pages of posts can I pls get some advice as the best way to start off doing the family tree?
should I join ancestory.com.au? and do I just pay a casual monthly fee $24.95.
Or is there another way I should start off?
thanks in advance 🙂
