Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.

The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

How is everyone else going?

Re: Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

Yes I was coming in to report the 2 day freebie as well.:-D

No I don't think it's time to drop this thread, you never know who might decide to come along and ask a question. I mean I saw the start of this thread but I was in a slump re the genealogy then, got myself a boost, came here and asked questions and am sort of going full steam now. So full steam I have dipped my toes into transcribing.:^O Am learning a fair bit on handwriting.

I still keep finding snippets, every time you do you get a little excited and off you go again.

Re: Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I know not many have US connections here but just in case, there is free access to the U.S. Census collection (1790-1940) on Ancestry until Monday!
