Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.

The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

How is everyone else going?

Ancestry have the Australian Electoral Roles up to 1980 now....in every state but Tasmania.:_|

Do you get 'Deals Direct' emails advertising their very good and sometimes quite reasonably priced products?

They have a scanner on sale at present for $79.00 that might be okay for you.

By coincidence ZAZZ (geek site) have one on TODAY only. We have the same one and it's worked for us.

I'm not advertising either but we've used this site for years for OH's gadgets. 😉 :^O

But I wouldn't buy any certificates through there.....they charge 19 pound.....when you can buy them for just over 9 pound.

Thanks darkie, I've got a couple of scanners at home and with the family. Unfortunately they don't do a good job, slides turn out terrible.
