Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.

The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

How is everyone else going?

Well, there you go! My mother would be so delighted ]:)

I got back as far as 210 AD and found we are related to the god Odin, a Norse god of old when the Vikings worshipped him :^O

Woden Odin Uuoden Voden Sigge - Supreme Ruler/King of the Scythians Asgard Myths & Legends
Your 61st great grandfather

Birth 215 or 210 in of Valhalla, Asagarth or Asagard, Land East of Tanakvisl, Asia, Ghowr, Afghanistan
Death 306 in Logrinn, Gamla-Sigtun Now Lake Malar, Sigtuna, Upsala, Sweden

As you can see I tagged him 'Myths and Legends'

AND he was married to

Friege or Frea or Frigg or Ferch Cadwaladr Myths & Legends

Okay, okay :^O but I do have a straight line to them before they fall off into myths and legends with stories very much the same as Moses and the bullrushes..

I so love the history and yes, the myths and legends too

Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

Bobthomas....I have sent you a message.

Darkie....I have one relative who went to Canada...and he has a distinctive name so wont be hard to find....but one relative doesn't justify the cost of having world wide ancestry for me.

I am free for any further searches.

bobtomas, if your parents/grandparents were born, married or died in Australia you can look up the Birth, Deaths & Marriages for all states for free. You only have to pay when you actually order a Certificate.

Not that helpful for those searching, but one of mine came from pommy land on a boat in 1857.
Took 100 days.
He kept a diary.

I was .... until i found out that they were all illiterate, misogynist savages, whose idea of a good time was to drive a herd of wooly mammoths off a cliff.
