Thoughts re Christmas......

My lot is gunna get a shock.  A really big shock.

His lordship says he won't come, and I haven't bought any presents.  It's just

gunna be about the food this year,

I suggested a name in a hat deal last year (Kris Kringle?) and they turned their collective

noses up at that one.

I have to buy for 12 and I'm sick of it.  Too much money and time trying

to figure out what they want.

His lordship has to go into hospital for mouth surgery now!  Dentist can't pull

a tooth, it's attached too firmly to the jawbone.

That's gunna cost a small holiday's worth of money.

I don't like Christmas much.  I go to lunch at ones and tea at the other for the kids.  It's not the same without Les, so I do as I please.  I understand how you feel Richo, sooner it's over the better.

Ooaks glad your scan is done and how nice to have contact with a BC Nurse, they are very special folk.

Every Christmas I give the girls cars a good clean.  Did Tracey's today, took me 2 and a half hours.  Living beside a dirt road makes a messy car, it does not help that she carts bales of hay in the boot either.  Now it is sparkling clean, all the surfaces have been treated with McGuires stuff, windows shining, just have to wash it and do the tires.  Car is in good nick cause Les taught them to look after motor as well as everything else.

Pouring here too, hot this morning, just turned heater on, pilot light was out, guess what, it is really easy to light, win for me, hehe

Sons a bit fussy with his cars-the farm.kids and dogs dont help.

Did you end up having a .unit party and how is the neighbour going?

Lucky you can light the pilot light easy-should not need a heater this time of year.

Stawka yes i dont blame you one bit re the xmas changes 

we got sick of it years ago for lots of different reasons that im sure i have said before

i know some people realy enjoy xmas , but i also think it's the retail peeps that realy love it 

its not like the good old days ( picture me wobbling my cane here hehe )

its all so false and draged out far to long 

kids have all they want and need already so all it is is buying more stuff they dont need 

it's sad i think that we have to much of a good thing because the enjoyment of 'getting a present"  has been spoilt

an extra nice family meal is all thats realy needed not all this mad frenzy of buying gifts

............

poor mr Stawka that darn tooth must be hooked around the jaw , he must have been in pain after the attempt at pulling it last time 

geez darn teeth are a problem all your life arent they .......  will it be before or after xmas ?
