Mornin' Trav,
Hope you're not decorating the outside of the house for Christmas -
I actually rode an extension ladder to the ground once.
My sister had failed to lock it off. But she very helpfully stood at the bottom to hold it steady for me hahahahahahaha
She let go really quickly when the top half started coming down with me on it.

Haha Stawka.
Wonder why Trav is hanging the pics that high?
Incoming for you from the north east-may slip past.........

Nah. I reckon I'll cop it.
I had to yell at daughter yesterday. She had the music as loud as possible so she didn't hear the thunder.
Sunny and 23 atm. It's humid enough for a thunderstorm.
Heat and rain - perfect combo for vegies.

Thunderstorms and rain just started.
Severe thunderstorms are making their way towards Melbourne's outer north, and forecasters say more flooding could follow yesterday's deluge in the city.

No no No, Stawks,
A regular step ladder is about my limit.
Have been up on the roof at home a number of times are extemely cautious.
I have major problems with heights if I an able to see the ground.
Stayed on a 30 something floor in Abu Dhabi, wouldn't even go near the windows.
Elevators aren't usually a problem, but one of the days we were there, we wait for an elevator to take us down,
doors open, we walk in, there are two other people in there, doors close and away we go.
Then I discover that the elevator is partially on the outside of the building.
Wifey was holding me trying to tell me it is ok. When we got to the bottom my body was almost frozen with fear.
Think that if we had of been a few floors higher, they may have needed the jaws of life to get me out.
Had a similar thing happen in Italy, we would walk from where we staying to the town centre.
The footpath was narrow and was only on one side of the road, there is a drop right beside the footpath of a few hunderd feet.
After the first time we walked it, I then would take a piece a cardboard with me, and hold it up beside my face so I couldn't see.
Got the pics all done.

I hope those pics are at eye level, Trav.
When I've gotten into a lift with a glass back, I put my nose to the door and shield my face on both sides with my hands.
Hate them with a passion.
Rain's not so bad. so far.

Take the rest of the day off-your work is done...
Im a bit the same with hights--but im ok with natural forms like cliffs etc
its the man made things that scare me.

Pics, Had some other ones already on the walls, put them in the same spot. new ones were longer,
and use two hooks for each, and used a spirit level.
Have noticed that as I have got older the height problem has got worse.
It's a horrible feeling and the odd times I get caught out, I get some strange looks from any people
that are around, especially if wifey has hold of me and talking, trying to keep me calm, which rarely works.
Canvases are about 1.5m long. wifey picked them up for $30
