BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

Seems to be a lack of threads for blokes.
On other threads,some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.
I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.

Thanks Dom we both got there, don't know if it's the right way but he got there with my 4 steps, I think because it looks so different, kind of sterile and you can't see a lot of posts he was disappointed.  Give him some time and he will be back.

Geez - you two - while you are in the thread - go to the top right hand of the page - you'll see ' OPTIONS '.

Click on OPTIONS - a little box will drop - of the choices choose ' Float this thread ' - by doing that it will stay ' pinned ' to the top of the front page - above any new threads started.

Mornin' all,

Linda at the top of THIS page, on the right hand side is OPTIONS. Click on that and scroll down to Float this topic for current user.  Click on that and it will say the thread is floated

Richo's thread will always be on the top of the page after that.

I do hate the way I have to scroll down a whole page to see if there's any recent replies to any other threads.  So much easier before when they just floated to the top with each new post.

Frustrating,  but I guess we'll get used to it.

Had to laugh, I will admit something now - I was on the boards at the minute they changed over and it was twilight zone wierd. I stayed up until 6 in the morning not posting just going into real old threads and prcatising LOL

At least now photo options are back, and if you want more options click on the 3 little dots to extend the tool bar - I actually quite like the forum, STOKED that the dead threads stay dead, and have pinned the ones I want to locate so quite happy.

I also lke that you can go in to Answer Centre and Disccusion / CS and read ALL posts without going into Selling, the Buying etc.

If I am in a particular thread that is older, I use the back arrow button rather than clicking back on the

header of the forum, that takes me to the next thread in line

Kat, info on floating this thread has been posted twice.  But Linda (sorry Linda) had to ask Dom what she meant.

And the 3 dots to extend the toolbar?   I don't got 'em.  Is there something I have to click on to get them?

Also, don't like i have to click on REPLY to post.  After editing it says POST, why not before?

Oh - if you mean ' quote '. Click on the two " - to the left of the camera.
