Surely they're having us all on.

And I bet he's a redhead like his dad

He is a lovely little baby.....just because most people don't like his name is not his fault and he does not deserve ridicule.
I think his parents will have something to answer for in the future.
They should have used his second name instead.....Harrison is nice.
BBC broadcaster Danny Baker fired over tweet comparing royal baby to chimpanzee
now that WAS cruel.

Master is not even a courtesy title. It is the usual title for a male child of no rank and will be used until he is an adult and becomes Mr. Even a garbo's son is called Master.I can't imagine a Prince Archie....or an Archie, Viscount whaterver.
I know that Lyndal. I'm old enough to remember when children's birthday cards were addressed to Miss or Master (name) on the envelopes.
Do you also remember when Princess Anne's son was born and the press couldn't seem to get used to the idea he wasn't a Prince so for years he was referred to as Master Peter Phelps. It seems Harry and Meghan are taking a leaf out of Anne's book and so have suggested Master Archie, because knowing the media they won't be happy to refer to him without a 'title' of some kind, even if Master isn't a title per se..

Who's bagging the baby?
It's the parents that are responsible for naming him.
That's who my issue is with.

What on earth has ' commonsense ' got to do with this thread.
Aaaand it is ' Common Sense '. lol
It could be added a ' sense of humour ' - should be more common.

Yeah, I don't get "Archie" either.
It's just not "royal" as we understand it.
It has no formality and no reference to the British royal lineage and heritage as we colonials like it.
Still, it's not nice to lampoon the baby and the parents about it.
