Allison Baden Clay Murder 2 years ago
I was reading up on this today, as the trial started Monday.
The senior Baden Clay was on the stand today and gave evidence about something his wife told him about his daughter in law..................................I thought they usually objected and called that heresay?
Don't they do that in Australia? have I watched too many American crime shows?

Bit strange His wife could mention it when it is her turn in court, if they felt it important.

She isn't on the witness list

I thought they don't publish the names of people on the witness list?

Someone in court tweeted the list I believe.

OK. He had no problem recalling that but other things he was asked about, says ' he doesn't recall'

A list of 77 potential witnesses was also read out.
It includes family of the accused and victim, police, real estate agents, as well as Queensland MP for Moggill, Dr Bruce Flegg.
I read it when they said it but don't recall where it was, it was mentioned that E Baden Clay was not on it.
