Heard on the news tonight both the Chan and Sukamaran families are holding open funerals for Andrew and Myuran.
Andrew Chan's funeral will be at the Hillsong Church, opposite where I work, on Friday.
I believe Sukarmarans funeral will be televised.
Wouldn't you think the families would have given their boys a dignified funeral and not made a media circus out of it?
The media will be in a frenzy.

the support for the families from australian
public was obvious. there were/are a lot
of people who strongly oppose the killings
of chan and sukumaran. there were vigils
held across the country.
chan's family seem like nice, decent people.
i think the choice of the venue was more to
do with wanting to accommodate all those people
who showed support rather than seeking publicity.

It wouldn't matter to me if she was....... she is still my mum.

I don't think they did either, the mother's letter to the President made that clear.........
I doubt it will make any difference but I hope they decide at some stage not to enforce the death penalty in future. Those who have no empathy for the families, I hope they are never faced with a situation where their children do the wrong thing and get caught.
