What I have said and will continue to say is that there is employment IF you want to work,
Absolute rubbish, many with a university degree cannot get a job. Before you say but they could pick apples there aren't apple trees where I live, should every unemployed person with a degree move to Tasmania? Be honest about it poddy, there is something seriously wrong with the lack of jobs, not workers.

Joanie, this is Australia, A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A. It is a large island-nation in the Southern Hemisphere. We have kangaroos and venomous snakes. A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A doesn't have a Bill of Rights with all sorts of Amendments about bearing arms and so forth.
The USA (where you are from) is a large country in the Northern Hemisphere with lots of people, weak beer, lots of guns and a Bill of Rights that makes sure everyone is free to defend themselves against weak beer when they go shopping.
Just out of interest, Austria, A-U-S-T-R-I-A is a small landlocked country in Europe where people listen to Mozart all day and speak a funny form of German.
