Netanyahu urges delay in probe of shelling UN facilities
The Israeli premier has urged the UN chief to delay a probe into Tel Avivโs fatal shelling of UN facilities in the recent military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip.
In a meeting with Ban Ki-moon and other UN diplomats, Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Tel Aviv had done everything to prevent civilian casualties in Gaza.
He said the UN should discard the inquiry board as the Israeli military police are already investigating the incidents.
But the UN chief said Israel had acted disproportionately in its 50-day onslaught on the Palestinian enclave.
Ban added that Tel Aviv violated the international law, since UN facilities are supposed to be immune from such attacks.
Israeli forces shelled seven UN-run facilities used as shelters for Gazans in its recent invasion of the coastal enclave.
Fatal Israeli military aggression orphaned children of Gaza
Children in the Gaza Strip are paying the price of the latest Israeli war on the coastal enclave, as many have been left orphaned by the brutal military aggression, Press TV reports.
The Israeli regime launched its war on Gaza on July 8 and later expanded its military campaign with a ground invasion of the Palestinian territory. Over 2,100 Palestinians, including 578 children and nearly 260 women, lost their lives in the attacks and some 11,000 were injured.
The orphaned children are now staying either in an orphanage or with their relatives.
The Israeli aggression on the Palestinian territory, where about half of the 1.8-million population are children under the age of 18, also left thousands of kids traumatized.

Well just another typical warmongering speech full of rhetoric and victim status mentality. The audience seems a bit low, there seems to be alot of delgates missing from alot of countries, wonder why that is?
He says Iran has attacked 2 dozen countries in 5 continents since 2011. I'd like to know exactly which countries Iran has attacked and how?
And as for the applause from the audience when he is speaking about how awesome the IDF is, how moral they are, how much they regret every civilian casuality etc, etc It's enough to make one feel physically ill.

netanyahu is a war criminal
Israel army vehicles enter Gaza, forces open fire
Israeli army vehicles have entered the southern Gaza Strip and soldiers have opened fire on Palestinian agricultural areas in a flagrant violation of a recent ceasefire agreement.
A dozen Israeli military vehicles entered Gaza from a gate east of the southern city of Khan Yunis on Wednesday, crossing some 200 meters into the Palestinian territory.
Israeli soldiers then fired shots on Palestinian farms. Witnesses say the assault, which occurred in the early morning, forced agricultural workers to leave their lands. No injuries have been reported so far.
Earlier this week, Israeli military forces shot and injured a Palestinian farmer in northern Gaza near a fence separating Israeli-occupied territories from the blockaded coastal enclave. An Israeli military spokesperson claimed the farmer had come too close to the border fence.

Boris he is not the only one though. And I agree with him that the IDF do give fair warning for civilians to evacuate from areas that they are targeting. BUT where the heck are they meant to evacuate too exactly? A UN shelter that may very well be the next 'target'
It's leaders like him that are propagating the lie that "all muslims are terrorists" and that "democracy is sacrosanct" and "that the leaders of countries that we dont like are like cancers that need to be removed"
If you removed all the rhetoric from his speech there would be half an hour of silence and about 4 minutes of substance...

Netanyahu is the only Leader in history who instructed his army to make phone calls to their enemy to warn them, drop leaflets, set up medical tents to assist the wounded people from the enemy side and insisted they stop launching rockets at Israel from schools, hospitals, civilian areas etc to no avail. Israel did everything they possibly could to avoid casualties.
If you watch this video Netanyahu says that Hamas and ISIS come from the same poisoned tree branch. Hamas is ISIS and ISIS is Hamas. Same terrorist group that is in charge of Palestine.

I know UFO.
At the same time where are/were they suppossed to evacuate to? Palestinians dont have bomb shelters like Isrealis do. Every border in the place is blockaded, there is no freedom of movement in and out of Gaza. I think you are jaded if you believe that Isreal did "everything they could" to avoid casualities. And they will keep spinning the lie that Hamas uses "Human Shields" to protect their missiles whereas Isreal uses missiles to protect her citizens.
So because Netanyahu says that Hamas is Isis then it must be so? It's just wartime propaganda imo. From what I can gather from this speech is that what Isreal really wants is for all the surrounding countries in the middle east (that are either Islamic/Arabic or against Isreals policies) he wants them all disarmed. It's okay though for Isreal to have WMD's (and to use them indiscriminatley against a majority unarmed population) but if any other country has them, they are a threat and should be totally disarmed.
Double standards much?
