If the horrific murder of two Australians is carried out then we should boycott Bali and all things Indonesian.
We gave over a $billion dollars to this country after the tsunami, we prop then up with foreign aid and they spit in our faces.
They have ignored all diplomatic attempts to mitigate their sentences and Watta a Joko has now signed the order to send them to the "killing Island" wouldn't want to kill them on Bali now would they, might upset the tourism business.
I'm appalled and disgusted, scared and frightened for these men and heartsick for their families.

Americans also execute people, they also hold people without charges, or proof of any wrong doing, and torture them for years; does the above apply to them? Or is it only when Australians are involved, or is it only when Indonesia is involved?

Indonesia is a very wealthy country with millions more people than Australia.
Strangest thing I have read all day. Millions of people in a country, makes it wealthy? Chortle.
Australia does not give Aid to wealthy countries.

Of course the PM does more harm than help.
The Australian
Delicate dance of diplomacy beyond flat-footed Abbott
THE only way that Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran can be spared is if Joko Widodo is able to change his decision without being seen to have had a change of mind. He has to be able to save face.
Bellowing at Indonesia or issuing not so subtle threats will not work.
What the Prime Minister needs to do is instruct Julie Bishop to hot-foot it to Jakarta, accompanied by advisers who understand the psyche that ยญunderlies Indonesian society, to meet her Indonesian counterpart to explore how the President can change his mind without being seen to do so. Not an easy assignment but not impossible.

I really thought, for such a delicate situation, surely someone would have written a clear and concise, gospel truth speech for him.
Seems I was wrong.

I've already tried to find out what that was about, but I was ignored.

Yep, high on assumptions & accusations, light on details/facts.

In reality he is only saying what he thinks people want to hear. He is doing what he does best when he says he cares about the 2 on death row, telling fibs.

I heard an Indonesian journalist in discussion in which he said that, unlike his predecessor, Widodo is 100% focussed on domestic affairs and is not interested in external issues, so is unlikely to even listen to arguments from other countries.

Humanity is a quality sadly lacking in most of the responses on here.
And talking about USA? I am addressing the impending death of TWO AUSTRALIANS facing the firing squad.
This is not an Abbott hate thread tho I'm sure you all know that as well.
Try to curb your appalling bias and address the topic.
