Do people really whinge about breaking a nail??? hahaaa!
I always thought it was one of those things said in a joking way.....not something that a person would really complain about??
Does anyone else know someone who does this...or do you ?

they are revolting. I have always wondered about women that grow their nails to that length, how they manage to do anything........

It can actually really hurt. I broke one this morning and my finger throbbed for an hour and it is still tender. Usually I just chip corners off but this was a break well down the fingernail. When I chip the corners off at work I got to scratch my eye lid and gouge flesh.

How does that women in the photo go to the toilet? She looks like she has already been through menopause so that shouldn't be a problem but ones and twos ................
How does she scratch her nose?
One good thing is that she would be unlikely to sit near you on the bus picking her nose but I think the nails would make me retch anyway.

Wellll....it is more than likely an endearing sight for someone, so that someone could do all the tasks.
Trying to be delicate here...but you know, some man.

For someone who is a self confessed "control freak", you are the epitome of diplomacy

Let it dry then put nail polish on.
It use to hold the broken bit onto the nail until the nail grew out, then you could cut rest of nail off........it worked everytime, and I saved many of my nails by doing that.
Would do it now, but havent got any super glue.
I had to go to the chemist this morning and there they were. Nail repair kits ๐
With a tiny fibre glass patches to stop the nail ripping off until it gets a chance to grow beyond the bleeding zone.
