"They wanted to find the black boxes, check out the black boxes and possibly  even tamper with the black boxes before they 'found them,'" Cashill said. "I  think the same thing is going on here."

He said he's been watching coverage of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight  with similar scrutiny.

"I would bet now they know where the plane is and what happened to the plane,  but they want to retrieve the black boxes, find out exactly what happened and  then get the store straight before they release any information," he said.

He points to an emergency location that's designed to activate in the event  of a plane crash.

"It's either, A, it is an unprecedented mystery or B, the authorities are  withholding information," Cashill said. "To me, B is the much more likely  scenario."

Did note that White House rep states that US is considering searching in the Indian Ocean too......no where near last known location.

AAll I've seen posted from paints is what's readily available on the internet and in the daily news. suggest if you find this objectionable to turn off our television and computer and stay in a darkened room

Who says it's a who? Accepted theory is a wiring issue and a fuel tank problem ignited fumes. It's one thing to state a theory, but I find someone droning on and on about conspiracies and tragedies tasteless...I'm not directing that towards you, but I just made a statement and prefer not to drag it out. I'm sure when such a tragedy turns out to be proved a conspiracy "they" will wet their pants with joy! And if the US is involved....Homerun!

That was all the flights taking place over the US east coast at the time I made that post. I can see a number of them being tailed!

Edit: Good to see this get it's own thread, instead of monopolizing the other one.

Its really not ok to be saying without a doubt what happened as no one actually knows yet. Given that a couple from the plane are from QLD and we have quite a few posters also from QLD, its not a huge stretch to think that there may be people here who may have known the missing couple. Its cruel to make such assumptions and try and pass them as fact..heartless really

No, please don't make me stay in a darkened room, there will be monsters lurking in the shadows, there must be, somebody on the internet said so, so it must be true. Incidentally I have been watching ABC News 24 all day and strangely enough they don't mention  the plane being shot down. OMG Shock, Horror, do you think it is a conspiracy to deny us the truth?

Flight plans are not and cannot be changed by radar - they are changed by pilots, usually on the instructions of flight controllers.
