Bye, Bye Barnaby...

Well I suppose it had to happen.

Barnaby Joyce announced his resignation at 2pm  today.

I haven't caught up with the fall out, yet.  It will be over all the news programs tonight..

Tony Abbott is still opening his mouth....I will be happy if he just shuts up for a little while!

If I were Malcolm Turnbull I may stay overseas for a bit longer!!

Re: Bye, Bye Barnaby...

i know we have moved off topic but thats ok by me.

the thing about shipping live animals, going on board ship 'in port' is one thing.

its calm, your even likely to not be there during a storm.

place that ship now loaded with animals hundreds of miles from land and in a storm, how do you suppose those animals who have never been off solid ground go?

ive seen what happens to people even on nice days out at sea, its not pleasant, but they have a choice to not go on ships so if they become violently ill thats tough.

i really cant see vets running about giving sea sick meds to all the animals who are not coping with their world being turned into a roller coaster.

thats my thoughts on live shipping.

Re: Bye, Bye Barnaby...

I saw an interview re Live Trade Export, once these poor animals are gone from the farm, no one seems to care what happens to them   .... As one farmer said "Once the cheque is in my bank account, they are no longer my problem"    ...... says it all really ๐Ÿ˜ž

Sheep aren't the most robust of animals, they can die at the "drop of hat" particularly if they are stressed, so goodness knows how many actually make it to their destination

It's all very well to continually bash the Labor Gov for the action they took re Live Trade, at least they tried to do something to alleviate the animals' suffering.

@imastawkawrote:

But he didn't do any name calling.  That was the previous poster.

I don't always agree with what David says, but he has the right to say it - to misquote

I thought everybody understood David's way of posting by now.

He says what he thinks - right or wrong.

We all have idiosyncrasies

Yes I agree, I wasn't saying David did the name calling it was the post above his.....

Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce has slammed the initial reporting of his relationship with Vikki Campion, saying he was never asked if he was the father of his former staffer's unborn child and that the issue of paternity is not certain.

Gee, what a wonderful partner and father he is.

Hope she dumps him now his life is completely ruined.

Now he (Barnaby) is virtually calling Vikki a s*ut.

Hope she does prove paternity - would only take 2 minutes.

Re: Bye, Bye Barnaby...

Yeah well that's the media for you. Prying into ppl's personal affairs for the sensational headline.

Remember when they tried to pin an illegitimate child on Tony Abbott and it turned out after DNA testing not to be his?

The media feasted on that story for days.

Having said that, I think Barnaby is a creep for even hinting it might not be his.

Re: Bye, Bye Barnaby...

Worse than a creep, Icy.  He's saying he wasn't even in the country for 10 days in June.

This baby is supposedly due in April.  Those dates don't add up.

He was here in Parlliament in July, and that's when it was conceived, if it's due in April.

No! I did like him! I liked his bluff country manner and forthrightness!

I like that he worked through the citizenship crisis and got himself re-elected.

After all that, he leaves himself open to media vultures by conducting and extra-marital affair with one of his staffers!

Whatta dope!

Then he makes it worse by casting doubts on the paternity of the child expected by his bit on the side! He should just keep his bloody mouth shut! What sleaze! And same goes to Vikki Campion! It takes 2 to tango!

He's totally let everyone that believed in him, DOWN!
