Gooooooood morning to everyone from a very hot and humid gold coast

Boy are we copping the humidity here..........just going to get tidied and slip across to the hospital and see chrissie.......was there yesterday when Doctor was making his rounds........and chrissie is going to be in there for a while.....the best place for her to be under the circumstances.........takes a lot of worry etc away. She has been started on some heavy duty pain meds and they appear to be working.....still is on the nasal oxygen.....is getting very good care and attention just what she needs:)

Not much happening here.......the OH is off chasing little white balls in this stinken heat.........cant believe it lol

LOL had a giggle JV at your OH chasing little white balls lol Mine was out in Lycra yesterday doing the Tour of Bright. Crazy I tell you lol

Well, I'm starting to get my energy back so the iron supplements are working. I never knew how not having enough iron could cause you to feel batty (well thats my excuse anyway).

Appointment with the specialists have been moved to next year now, so won't know more till then. Just hoping that fibroid shrinks in the meantime lol

Apart from that feeling way better! Starting our pinata today so we can have it for Christmas, its great fun getting all the goodies out lol (its the inner child in me rofl)

Looking forward to Christmas, I really love this time of year 🙂

Bella so pleased to hear you are feeling beter. Yep lack of iron will cause tiredness. I had a couple of fibroids and had a hysterectomy. Best thing I ever did for myself. Was quite ill in the end.

Kerry good luck with the bond. I doubt you would have any trouble getting one. Best to move I think. Nasty old so and so your land lord.

Well I have been out for a walk. Going to boast here as I am so proud of myself. Did 40 pushups, 40 lunges, 30 squats and did the hill three times. I feel so damn proud. Off the pedestal now. lol. Off to find an optomertist as I laid on my glasses. Silly me. They need to be adjusted a bit.

Very cool here this morning. I think the weather on TV said 17 with rain here today. Oh well can not do much about it. Wondering if the sun shines for any length of time here. But it is so beautiful.

Well off to find coffee. Need a caffeine hit. lol

Wow, well done PCT!!!!! You are an inspiration! Actually its something I need to continue to work on myself but am taking it easy atm.

If you get time and feel like sharing PCT, how did the fibroids affect you? So far for me its been the pain and more leg pain thats annoying.

I had severe pain and cramping. Leg pain. Extremely heavy loss . Sweats and almost passing out. The worse was when I got a pelvic infection and that was worse than labour pain. Ended up in hospital for a week. Then I became anaemic (sp?). So had it all out and feel so much better. I really believe they get worse not better. But that is just me. I suffered for many years with them. My advice to anyone is to have a hysterectomy. Wish I had of done it sooner.

Thanks PCT, Sounds like you had a terrible time. I get the leg pain so badly as well.Oh and the heavy loss etc. I won't be seeing the specialist till feb.

I had hoped it would have been sooner, so hoping this doesn't drag out too long. But am looking forward to having the rotter removed!!!!

I agree with you I think they do get worse and I am extremely keen to have a hysterectomy. I think because I carry the FX gene I shouldn't have a problem getting my request and docs request meet.

Just hoping it doesn't drag on forever........

Hi JVH big relief your friend is getting much needed medical assistance - especially being in so much pain. It must be so hard for her to come to terms with. I do not envy the road ahead you will travel with her and wish you every ounce of strength!

Hiya pjbear sounds to me like that cat of yours is the boss at your place lol! Hope you have something good planned for your day (you normally do!)

Purple well done and congrats with the exercising - it's the motivation I have the problem with. Got the wii fit all set up and keep walking past it lol!

Hi bella - sorry you have to wait till next year for your appointments. I had 3 fibroids surgically removed (cut hip to hip not by lapro) - and was thrilled with the results (one of them was so big I could see it/feel it) - Doc said it was heavy so I came home happier and lighter and never looked back. (This was about 4yrs ago and no problem since). (Touch wood lol!)

hey all, well I can't sleep, I am feeling really low atm, and i cant vent antwhere else, if I say anything i get attacked for it ... 😞
i am so down atm, I absolutely dislike this time of year makes me sad to see everyone else happy and cheerful and chatting about their christmas plans, yet I am expected to travel 2 hours to go to the family christmas..I dont want to go, but to keep the peace and to stop the tears , I am going to,,...My family are giving me the willies,, since i broke my wrist not one of them has rung me to see how I am or if I need anything...not one!!
my mother has pnemonia 3 times last week i rang her to see how she was,, and ,I am told that I am selfish for not going to her place and doing her housework and shoppng...what the hell?? I cant get into her place for a start and how am i supposed to do any of that while in a wheelchair with a broken wrist???sooner I leave adelaide the better,,thing is I love Adelaide,,(not the heat part tho)
Do they not get it??? I am still waiting for my friend to repay me the money she owes me...I am not loaning anymore money out,,not ever my mum took over a year to pay me back $100 and my aunty took nearly 2 years to give me back $800 dont they realize that ,That is my savings.. I tell you between all this garbage and my health I am at the end of my rope,I cant sleep at night cos people keep ringing me and waking me up, 2 phone calls last night bothe around midnight, then early yesterday morning at 3 am and then again at 7.50 am , what is wrong with these people,..

I hope that you all areokay giving you all big hugs and thanks to you all for putting up with me!!

Bear its a very difficult time for many families...........i dont like the way so many go over the top when so many in this country are on struggle street.........im off my soap box now:):)
