Why do we have different balloons on the boards?
Grey, red, solid colour or a white highlight, a little plus sign on the bottom right hand corner, a green tick? The only one I can understand is when a Moderator locks a thread.
Wonder how any posters are just as puzzled as I am?

Thank you, Pepe.
BTW, I was away all winter while eBay changed. Had to learn to navigate on the boards again.

Pepe, what does the green tick before the thread title mean?

the white bit means new posts since you last read, the plus means you have posted in that thread
I don't see the plus, do you mean the arrow? or is it actually a plus?
this is how eBay has them labelled:
- topic
- topic with new content
- hot topic
- hot topic with new content
- hot topic with new content - you replied
