My computer just got a nasty virus so I had to borrow the teens macbook. She has changed all the letters on the keyboard to new spots! Trying to stop her siblings hacking it I am told. It has taken me way to long to reply to questions and I'm too scared to list anything new. Am I the only loser that can't touch type????

Yes I touch type, 65 w.p.m.

I did at one time manage 80 words a minute, now I'm lucky if I can do twenty.
Touch typing isn't all its cracked up to be, more prone to RSI of the wrist

I have a school certificate for 100 w.p.m but sadly that was then and this is now.

Hey lurker, I also learned to touch type with an apron over the keys. In those days
you had to really hit those keys. We learned to music. Slow tempo at first. Then I forced
my poor unsuspecting daughter into the same thing. Taped a tea towel over the keyboard.
She now types 120 w.p.m. and thanks me for it

I can touch type, but don't ask me how fast. I am certainly a lot slower than I was 50 years ago.

Set a timer for 2 minutes. Belt away. When the timer goes off count the words. Dare ya
