Hey Cat, show us a pic of that Buddha he's taking,
and we'll buy you one infused with love
(or I could just nick the one reclining on Freddie's coffee table)

:^O
I have a few Buddha statues but this one is infused with stability and groundedness. In Buddhism even inanimate objects are infused with one or more of the Ten Worlds according to the person/s who created the object. So if the person/s are infused with Hunger (greed to make money) then that's what the object expresses. If the person/s are operating from the world of Buddhahood then that's what the object is infused with.
okay Buddhism teachings over ...
just thought I'd share that
🙂
I still have my beautiful Buddha on my altar that my future son-in-law bought me in Thailand and the one my friend had carved in Vietnam. Now
they are special :-x
And maybe Mr Ex taking the statue is a good thing? He may look at it one day and suddenly realise everything he has done has it's consequences i.e karma. Who knows?
But I do know and understand
I need to chant/pray to change my bad karma to good karma. I've been betrayed by every man I've been with including my own father. But I believe, because of all the chanting I've been doing for my fathers happiness (he is dying of cancer, in the last stages), we have resolved our relationship. I feel so at peace with him, We talk on the phone and I'm going to visit him again tomorrow. Now that is a miracle. And through healing my relationship with my dad, I can start to heal my karma with men.
PS And another miracle - dad has been pain free for the last fortnight and has stopped all pain medication and he sounds happy!
