Miss Cat I'm sorry I haven't popped in much this week, I gotta go to Canberra tomorrow and the lead-up preparation is insanity.

But I did do a big good deed this week so I'm looking forward to my Karma truck coming and it being an icecream truck!!!!

I'll be away on OK day this Saturday, but I'll still be wearing them, and thinking of you. Sorry about that visual image.

almost certainly the syptoms you are descriping are stress related. When my marriage split up (and I had to live with my "Nonads" for a couple of months after too), my hair was coming out in big clumps. The doc said it was emotional stress.

BUT!!! As someone said above, wouldn't hurt to just go and see the doc to make sure it is nothing more sinister, or that the stress is not causing something more sinister. He may even be able to prescribe something to help you through the next few days (i.e., to help sleep/calm you). St John's Wort and Rescue Remedy are also quite good for mood/anxiety, but be sure to check you can take them with any other meds you may be on.

And finally, and I HATE to be the one to bring this up, but get the doc to check out EVERYTHING else too - when I found out my ex was cheating on me, I also found out he had not bothered with condoms - "she told me she was on the pill" (insert rolly eye emoticon) and I also found out later she was actually TRYING to get pregnant to him!

Fortunately for me (and for Mr Ex, 'cos I woulda killed him dead!) everything checked out all clear, but it is important to make sure Nonads hasn't left you anything more than bad memories.

Next few days will be hard, but you have been so very strong already, you will come through with flying colours. Wishing you strength.

It's great you have friends and family coming to see you as I'm sure it will help with the emptiness of the house although by the sounds of things all you really need is a scarecrow plopped on a chair and it would be business as usual !!hahahaa
