I'm ok. Very teary and feeling lost. My heart's hurting. I can't even talk about it.

I miss her so much already but I'm so happy for her that she is following her passion for travelling.

and cyn - my OH's brother had as little as possible to do with his boys - he really regrets it now but they don't really want to know him - they are 30 and 26 and have their own families now. He gets my MIL to pass on facebook pics of the little ones

I am feeling a bit better now because I just received a text from her. The plane has landed in Dubai. They are staying at a luxury hotel for 2 nights before flying to the UK.

Haven't said anything for a while, but I have read and kept up to date.
Ms Mioux, you will be fine - she is as close as your computer!! when my DD went overseas years back ( just after her 21st) I was devastated but she would text, email, and facebook all the time so it didn't feel so bad at all! She also rang whenever she could, using on of those phone card thingys. You will be fine:-) Just send her an email if you want to talk to her...
