Hi lovely OK women :-x
We will keep this thread going because I know how important it is. For some reason I find sometimes women can turn on women. You don't often see that with men. If they have a problem they might have a fistycuff but then they shake hands and get on with it.
The woman that had the affair with my partner of 10 years is an example. She encouraged my partner to cheat and lie, she said terrible things about me i.e laughing at the thought of me crying when he told me he was leaving me then using my love for him against me saying I was a "nut job" for crying. And she would say things like she now had "two husbands". I believe a part of her motivation to cheat with my husband was to 'win' another woman's husband to make herself feel good.
How sad is that?!
I could NEVER have an affair because I could never do that to someone who loved me. But equally, I could never do that to another woman.
I'm not blaming her for the affair. Mr Ex is 100% responsible for that. But she made it easy and encouraged him to leave me even though she had no real intention of leaving her husband.
So the point of my story .. yes I have a point :^O
is that women need to be encouraging and supporting each other. I believe they call it sisterhood. :-x

hello ms mioux ๐
great post !
The relationships between women can be very complicated. I often wonder if it is something "built in" from the past.
When men were the hunter gatherers and women wanted the strong/fertile men. The urge to be seen as better than another so as to get the "best"male.
I know it's a big jump from that to the way some women put others down etc. today.
Hmm, I don't think I'm doing very well, trying to say what I mean LOL
Anyway, yeah, women can be their own worst enemies sometimes, by treating other females badly, all it does is show others how mean spirited they are.
How is your inner self today, ms mioux ? Are things becoming clearer for you ?
I think this thread will be around for a long time, it may not stay as it is but may grow even more than it has. I'm sure there are many who read and take comfort, feel stronger and realise they are not alone.
When you write your book, imagine all the hearts you will be helping โฅ
