I did explain that to him. The solicitor says he can deny until the probate is granted.

Hi everyone, and (((HUGS))) all round.

CJ I don't know if this helps at all, but I had HUGE problems with my DD during her teens - much the same sort of stuff you are going through, caused me no end of grief and nearly drove Mr Elephant to distraction. At age 25 she suddenly realised that there was more to life than booze and partying, took herself off to Uni and got a degree in IT. another 20 years down the track and she is my best friend - and has been for ages - is happily married to a great guy and holds down a high power job.

She now has two girls of her own 21 and 17 who have both given her a few headaches, but tgenerally treat her much better than karma should allow (who said life was fairX-() she also has two stepsons, one of whom has just come out of hospital after rolling and writing off his car while over the limit.

So hang in there - they do grow up.

To lighten the mood a bit, I had some exciting news today.

I won a trip to the Northern Territory.  It is for 4 days and 3 nights to Alice Springs.

I have never been there before and I have wanted to go.  I think I might have mentioned in the past (unless it was on another thread) that I have wanted to see parts of Australia but MrBraff doesn't want to do that until we are not able to travel overseas anymore.

Jacks, same as what Cat said - I'm peeved as well about your mums car and his many others and the drama you had with your car at the time!?  Hell I would have lent you my car if I could get it to you!!!  Seriously!?  Shesh.

I too can totally understand your lack of paitience with him.  I'm hoping he's not 'up to something' (like selling jewelery etc).  Jeez these type of situations really bring out the worst in some people.  😐

So on another note ...  I started my new job this monday.  It's quite a step down from my normal managerial type positions of the past and I'm being trained by someone half my age that seem to have slipped her mind that this is NOT my first job!  :^O  It's kind of amusing when I think about it.  I can so do this job, it's just learning all the procedures etc.  Then I will be fine.  I'm sure I am harder on myself than anyone else is. 

I've only been there 2 days so far.  Nothing really to complain about except that I feel that I can't 'relax into the role' yet.  Dont like that feeling much.  It's a bit stressful and takes so much outta me at the end of the day.  Although one of my supervisors is a friend who I have worked with before, he knows me, that I can do the job so I'm grateful for that.  🙂

Best thing about my job that I found out today - we have casual day EVERY Friday!  I'm so happy!  :^O  Worst thing - there is a vending machine that I will pass about a million times during the day that is filled with many choclity items calling my name!!!  Hmmm....  😐

On a totally unrelated subject - I'm going blonde on 4th Aug.  Mark it on your calendar.  Hell, you will probably see it on the news it's such a big story!!!  :^O

Just a quick post before heading off to bed. Me and Miss Kitty had a PJ party tonight with home made vege pizza and lots of yummy treats. Miss Kitty is sleeping over.

Congratulations Mrs Braff! What a wonderful prize to visit NT. When do you think you will go? Does the prize have a time limit? I'd love to wear my uggies to work, hopefully our work will agree to the no stress day.

Blacksheepy you'll soon settle into your job. Give it a couple of weeks. Yay for casual friday and sort of yay for the vending machine choccies. LOL We have one too. I wish they sold hot meals for when I forget to bring my lunch. Having a packet of chips is not exactly healthy. *sigh*

Blonde on the 4th Aug?!! I was thinking of going dark blonde next week too! I'm nervous. Usually I'm a light brown.
