Roo, the tests I had prior to my surgery should have had me glowing for weeks, I drank it, was injected x 4 times in the boob, once in the arm, and then whilst I was in noddy land they gave me another lot.

I've had to take time off from the supermarket as my feet and ankles have become really painful, to the point where I can't stand for more than 15mins at a time.  I have calcium spurs, bursitus and tendonitis.

I gave a letter to my boss at the supermarket from the doctor saying that I would need a stool to sit on sometimes, but they wouldn't allow it.  So now I'm only delivering the newspapers on Wednesday, I can sit down when I need to in that job.

Something doesn't sound quite right about that. Is your condition caused or worsened due to work? It may be a workers comp claim. Seems a bit discriminatory to not allow a sick employee use a stool so long as most duties can be completed while on a stool. As in, they're just asshats.

worsened due to work.  Over the years I have broken both my ankles and torn all the ligaments, they only treated the broken bones, and just ignored the muscle damage.  Well its thier loss, they have now had to find and train someone else to close and there are now 4 people who can be supervisors away for this month ]:)

I was browsing in a well known bookshop in Frankston this week and came across a new release book called The Dalai Lamas Cat by David Mitchie. I would have bought it,but I mostly use a Kindle these days. I have added it to my Kindle wish list.

Hi silvernanny thank you! I've been wanting/needing a new book to read and was waiting for some kind of inspiration or recommendation. I'd never heard of The Dalai Lama's Cat until you mentioned it. I looked at the reviews and have just bought myself a copy off ebay.

I can't wait to read it!
