It was lovely to read Kylie's news about her lovely children and how proud she is of them. You have done a fantastic job of raising them Kylie after all the turmoil with losing their Dad so early in their lives.
It is nice to hear how happy you all are now with the new family.
Regarding your hubby's post surgery stitches removal I would have thought that was covered as part of the initial costs. I would be inclined to make enquiries about that. It might have been a new receptionist that didn't know. All that can happen is that you get your money back. Have you put in for a Medicare rebate?
MsJacks, to be honest I was quite surprised when I read that you smoked and then I remembered that you had given up. I'm sure the lady meant well, but as others have said, she doesn't know your curcumstances so her words have hurt you more than she will ever know.

Blacksheepy, texting your Mum is a good way of you to keep in touch with her. Is it possible for you to speak to her Dr to find out for sure how her progress is? Whoo hoo for the extra money for petrol.

Braff, you're leading a very exciting life at the mo! I am so jealous!!!! (I hope you are eating heaps of yummy food while 'on assignement'!! ;-)) I agree, being able to text mum while she is in hospital has been great. She has been keeping me updated on whats going on and will be going home tonight. So its all good so far. :-x
Not really much has changed since I last posted. She's getting better slowly and is already complaining about wanting to go home. So I take that as a good sign. I really do think she will heal quicker at home, and I think being in a 'hospital environment' is a bit stressing for her.
I've told her I will be in constant contact, and will only be a ph call away etc. We still dont know the test results. Think that will happen when she goes back to see doc for a check up.
I sincerely thankyou all for your supportive words/thoughts. I guess we all know what it's like having someone important to us sick/ in hospital etc. And I am sending you all loving warm fuzzies in return!!!

Yes, I checked into it, asked around, but it wasnt included in the initial costs! Weird really cos it's essential to go back and get them out!?
Anyway we got a whopping $90 back from Medicare - woopee!
Im over it, we can afford it and Im grateful that someone donated their eyes after death and hubby got the transplant. โฅ
