China and pork

Does anyone know whether frozen food exports have been re-established to China yet ?

I recall their pig industry got decimated by swine flu last year - and i imagine has not recovered yet

Just wondering as I know how fond they are of pork and after the current calamity must be really missing a favourite meal

Seems would be a good export for us to re-establish - maybe additionally even in microwave meal form

My question is in the name of worker safety and the general public : Can coronavirus spread through pigs and infect humans and vis-versa ( thinking of the pigs ) ?

I don't know, but man made Climate change is to blame for most of these virus outbreaks

Everything in moderation........Its not meat that is killing the planet, its over population by humans, exploiting every resource beyond sustainable levels.

Whether its oil, mining, deforestation for crops and livestock production, fouling and draining our water supplies for vegetable and cereal crop irrigation, poisoning the soil with pesticides and inorganic fertilisers for crop and vegitable production or pillaging our oceans. Whether you are vegitarian or eat a little meat, ....doesnt matter..........the problem is simply too many humans.

And when anything reaches plague proportions, how does mother earth try to redress the balance ?   Yep.... disease. As distressing and tragic as the Corona Virus is for us, disease is the inevitable outcome for any species that reaches plague proportions.

Whether it be crops or people viruses take lethal hold amongst the sickly and/or chronically debilitated - is time for a revision of lifestyles and living environments relative to the natural physiology of the human condition, as opposed to what people can technically be conditioned over generations to tolerate
