When I was in Victoria a few weeks ago my golf group (4 of us) bought a scratchie which won a small prize. The idea was to claim it and "reinvest". My problem is I live in NSW, and the others in ACT. Other than taking a trip down to Wadonga(!) how can we claim our prize does anybody know? I've looked on the Tatts website but they only seem to talk about claiming prizes over $1500 by mail.
It wouldn't bother me except that it's not only mine. I need to do the right thing by the others in the group.

You can still claim it for a long time, Lurker.
Put it in the back of your wallet for your next trip to Victoria.

You'll have to enjoy another golfing trip to Victoria to claim.
The idea is to scratch and win and claim instantly.

But that won't be possible if the amount is $1500 or over because you need to claim that by mail.
So one of the group will need to claim it and then transfer the share to the rest of the group.

Why not if you have the $$$ to give to the others in the group, transfer the money into their accounts and just claim
the prize for yourself then?
And its been a few weeks you say,why haven't you claimed already lol,I would have done it as soon as I got home haha.

I think what they mean that prices over $1500 have to be claimed by mail. I also do not understand why you did not scratch it immediately, and made your claim while in Victoria.

You can not claim over the counter if the prize is over $1500 you need to claim it through the post.
Prizes under $1500 can be cashed at the counter only.

OP said it was a small prize.
$1500 is not small, in my book

Do you have family or frinds in Victoria?
You could post the Scratchie to them to claim at their local outlet and post the money to you or into your Bank ccount.
I don't think there is another solution.
