When I was in Victoria a few weeks ago my golf group (4 of us) bought a scratchie which won a small prize. The idea was to claim it and "reinvest". My problem is I live in NSW, and the others in ACT. Other than taking a trip down to Wadonga(!) how can we claim our prize does anybody know? I've looked on the Tatts website but they only seem to talk about claiming prizes over $1500 by mail.
It wouldn't bother me except that it's not only mine. I need to do the right thing by the others in the group.

Ok, more facts so you don't all think I'm nuts. It was a side bet we had amongst our group. Losers had to buy the ticket. We scratched it that evening at happy hour. We were all leaving early the next morning so I said I'd take it and reinvest our winnings, not realising about the cross border thing. Then I forgot about it until the other day when I found the ticket again.
See, simple really!
I'll just go and buy us the same value in NSW tickets and it will all be sweet. I was just wondering if there was anyway I could claim without physically being in VIC.

You can still claim it for a long time, Lurker.
Put it in the back of your wallet for your next trip to Victoria.
