Most of us know that this was going to happen, but seems some stores are moving it forward.

I just mentioned to my wife that we should go and buy some Aldi bags and use them at Woolies & Coles.

For years I faithfully put my Woolies re-usable bags in the car for the weekly shopping.
They've lain idle for the last year or so while I've done on-line shopping.
I've gottten their horrid plastic bags every week.
So where does that leave the on-line shoppers?
They're offering a bag for 15c - $2
If I have 10 bags every week, that certainly adds up and doesn't seem fair.
And who says they won't get creative and make my usual 10 bags into 20?
If I shopped instore, then I would be using my own bags.

May I just say Trav - one does have to keep up appearances.
LOL at the series - Mrs Bucket - with a very french accent.
This is what you need - to be seen at the Supermarket.

plastic bags were done away with in south australia years ago
took a while to get used to remembering to take my bags in with me but its second nature now. but i do have about 20 of them on the back seat of the car.
personally i felt it was a bum steer. as i was using shopping bags as bin liners and now i'm buying bin liners!

OK - this is a conumdrum..........................
Ask for the groceries to be delivered in ' the accepted ' bags - pay once.
Next they deliver - they take your previous bags - ready for the next delivery - your deliveries are mostly the same amount- same bag worth.
Or don't shop online.
Realise - your prob at present - but they are going to get everyone - unable to front to a real Supermarket paying continually for placky..

Unless.........
they re-use boxes for home delivery?
I already asked last year about using my own bags - it won't work they reckon.
They don't know whose bags are whose.

Does it matter whose bags - give 10 - get 10.
