Not wishing the virus on anyone, but Trump is responsible for the unnecessary spread of the virus and deaths of American people he is supposed to be serving. He really does have the blood of American citizens on his hands over this one.

Its interesting watching the expressions of the wiser heads standing behind Trump when he's making his speeches. One poor muppet had to step to the podium and explain a point after Trump had finished saying "it would all be over by Easter." His first words where " The President has said ".........That guy wasnt going to put his name to the stupidity.

Trump is much more "sedate" of late, quieter and reading from prepared statements. Although he claims his doctor(spin ?) stated he was Virus free after testing I wonder did he apply of those tests (hold your breath for 10secs if you don't cough or sneeze you don't have the virus) that figure largely on Fox news and Fox shows like InfoWars

Re: Coronavirus update

Do you have any data to support 'none I reckon', or is that just your opinion? Do you think social distancing is happening at Coles just to ruin our day? My point is this is a 'pandemic'.

show me the 'data' someone has?

yes, you can do things to lessen the chances of getting the virus, like keeping a distance between yourself and others.

but if there are no virus carriers where you are then it wouldnt matter if you kissed each other would it?

the virus is invisible, right?

just like cancer, until you have it.

you say you cant catch cancer, hmmm, not totally true, smokers catch it, passive smokers catch it too.

if you mum or dad had it then you may catch it too.

my mum had it, my brother had it, i may well get it.

2 diseases, one kills a few people (in australia so far) no one is predicting thousands.

makes many more a bit unwell.

the other infects hudreds of thousands

and kills 50,000

i havent head as yet any reports of anyone within a 2 hour drive from where i live having it, and much further have caught it from within south australia without having direct contact with a carrier who has arrived from over seas.

i think the odds of my getting it regardless of doing anything to lessen the odds is very slight.

do i still wash my hands and avoid going out, yes i do.

but i'm not in a panic about it

Re: Coronavirus update

The Cancer thing is a BIG part of the Corona virus concern. Anyone who is receiving Chemo or has had it recently has a lowered immune system and is at much greater risk of Pneumonia etc, caused by contracting the Virus. We could see cancer patients figuring highly in the death statistics of the Corona virus if we don't get on top of it.

Controlling Corona Virus will help save the lives of people currently undergoing cancer treatment..

i would guess if you have cancer and are visiting hospitals regularly your chances of catching the corona virus are very much increased

so far there is no published evidence ive seen saying any cancer patients have caught it whilst in the hospital system

but i have read of various organisations representing various diseases that lessen the imune system saying just that, having 'underlying' problems will make you far more likely to die.

Re: Coronavirus update

Yesterday I was toying with the idea of getting couple of chooks.  Looked on gum tree and saved some ads for Laying hens, but although I still have the pen, I do not have a hen house, and so did not even call.  This morning I have a message from gumtree saying one of the ads is no longer available but here is more of the same:

Yep, that will do......................
