New restrictions for Victoria - we're going backwards
25 new cases overnight.
on 20-06-2020 07:30 PM
A lot of the new cases are hotel staff and security guards.. those looking after quarrantined travellers, which shows just how contagious it is., there were "family" clusters in Keilor Downs related to school openings and another in Greensborough related to a childcare centre
an Essendon footballer who travelled from Ireland was in quarrantine for 2 weeks and tested negative 5 times... after that 2 weeks he tested positive. I find that a bit scary.l it could shut down our whole football season.
my daughter works in retail and I worry that she'll get it.. she says people don't social distance and come into her store coughing all over the place

The coughers should be arrested - many are doing that on purpose as there are some sectors of the community that resent the restrictions

People who have cough or any signs of cold should stay at home, or at least wear mask.
My arms are too long to be able to cough into my elbow. My neck is also long so I do not get it why I cannot reach; maybe the arthritis in the shoulders?

The easy thing to do lionnrose.7 and *kazumi is to pull out your tee shirt, shirt, cardigan a bit at the neck and cough into that. That way the breath being expelled goes under your garments.
Years ago in a pub I saw a girl who had too much to drink being sick and spewed into her teeshirt which was tucked in as she was walking to the door.
Good point *kazumi* aboout staying home and wearing a mask.

my mum was at a pedestrian crossing where she saw a girl press the button, not with her finger, but with her foot..
mum laughed and said I can't do that , wish I could get my leg up that high ![]()

Haha, I can just see that. I've thought about doing that myself as I can still do that but at my age, I'd probably not be as graceful as she was.
