Re: Coronavirus update

What if one refuses a random roadside booze test ?

What if one refuses a door-to-door coronavirus killer detection test ?

At this time is of no consequence

but should there be ?

Re: Coronavirus update

From that link -

But everything at this stage can only be said to be "probable": in vitro experiments often do not replicate the dynamics of a pandemic.

I'm afraid I agree with the comments Stawka made on the other thread. Taking a roadside random breath test will not make you sick.  For a person in Stawka's situation, agreeing to take the covid 19 test under what appear to be less than ideal conditions could be what actually gives her the virus, and could make her very sick indeed.

I think she is right to refuse the test. Having refused the test however, I think she could reasonably be expected to self isolate (which she has pretty much been doing).

Like David, when I had the test early last week,  the testers followed all the precautions scruplously and there were no other people there at all.  From Stawka's description, it doesn't look like that is the situation in Melbourne .
