its a SUPER SPREADER!
I dont find that funny, you obviously havent a clue how serious this is for my state and how much it will impact on S E SA
Lighten up a bit, David was just having a harmless ( and quite witty ) joke. I have been the butt of a bit of Davids humour recently and found it quite amusing and a good tension breaker when things are getting a bit testy.
As for not knowing how serious the recent outbreak is, there are a lot of things you don't know about the people who post here. Who their relatives are, where they live, how the individual posters may be impacted by the outbreak in ways you may not have thought of etc. It doesnt pay to assume too much here.

Two more Melb postcodes and 9 public housing towers to be locked down

Victoria records 108 new coronavirus infections, locks down suburbs and public housing

WOW, Totally WOW.
500 police officers per shift to completely lock down 3000 people inside social housing towers for up to 14 days and effective immediately. . And we thought it could only happen in Communist China !
There's going to be a lot of people who are already very vulnerable in those buildings. Without access to mental health care, cigarettes and walks outside, they are going to be one he!! of a mess when they finally come out.
Watch the panic buying in the Supermarkets step up to a whole new level now.

Shouldn't he be spewing vitriol at Dan?
After all, if Gladys sneezes she has infected the entire country.
actually i did have a 'go' at victoria and how they are handling the virus a few days ago and got told
'we are quite happy with our govt and dans the man'
my view is both dan and his govt are failing big time
and allowing borders to be open and footy teams to be wandering out into other states makes me very angry.
Footy teams aside, when is it going to be the responsibility of the individual.?
Any govt/organisation can put laws/guidelines (social distancing, staying at home etc.) in place but obviously individuals are not adhering to them or there wouldn't be transmission/outbreaks

i keep reading about ever increasing numbers of infected people
but i take it just being infected doesnt mean you will get sick?
or does it?
and if you do get sick is it like the flu?
stuck in bed with shocking headache and a nose that wont stop running and a cough that makes you vomit
aches and pains all over and feeling a week as
loss of appetite
cant get off the loo (not good if you have no toot paper)
the sweats
did i miss anything?
ive only heard talk of people either being fine after 2 weeks or
in the hospital clinging to life
does anyone have alink to a reputable page of what this virus does to you?
