Yes, the more you test, the more cases you find and the more people you can help. But Trump wants to reduce testing so he can pretend the problem doesn't exist and not look so incompetent. He has abandoned the American people - they now are expendable.
It pretty much is a case of hygiene and common sense. But America claims they are leading the way in fighting this virus. Lets hope the Victorians who were not practicing good hygiene and using common sense were not doing so because they listened to Trump. I would prefer to think they became complacent. They are way above the victims being infected by Trump's garbage.
I do not think Prez Trump is much on the mind of most Victorians regarding health guidelines - however the worry is if our advisory technocrats are following the US actions ... that is a worry, as our contagion circumstances and national character , allocation of resources and support , demeanor of the people are very different and so timings , agenda and strategy should be different
Take note when there are changes in heath mitigation requirements , where they follow soon after the northern hemisphere changes
We have a chance to eradicate the virus, as like polio and small-pox , and so remain nationally functional , with the means and determination to take stock and improve for the better ( need to change focus from the fixation on international tourism for the moment)
If we are not adapting to the new realities like universal optional online shopping with almost real time local delivery , means we are being partially stage managed as per the northern hemisphere lost cause experiences and mentality
