Been serious talk of pre-flight testing for passengers and flight crew for return flights - as I suppose the test kits are quick results now
CBD located hotels are starting to look a bit iffy - I thought converted air conditioned shipping containers located on a remote coast , units 100 meter separation, would lend itself to less chance of an outbreak - fishing , swimming , beach combing , stroll in the dunes , support visitations twice a day , just have to put up with a monitoring bracelet ( only activated if wondering to far or signs of stress - like stepping on a puffer fish) , deck chairs , bar fridge - not a bad inconvenience - probably not even notice the passing of an infection.
better than video games and staring at the wall - and better peace of mind for the rest of us

rogespeed, I initially misread what you wrote: "just have to put up with a monitoring bracelet (only activated if wandering* too far or signs of stress - like stepping on a puffer fish)."
I thought, Wouldn't the monitoring bracelet giving a shock like the sensation of having stepped on a puffer fish - on a PUFFER FISH, for goodness' sake! - be rather a harsh response to the person having wandered off a little?
Then of course, I realised what you'd meant.
*I had to correct the "wondering" and "to". The red pencil compunsion was strong in me. I contemplated including [sic] but ultimately went with the blatant correction option.

Lockdown announcement sparks panic buying at Brisbane supermarkets (msn.com)
Really? It's 3 DAYS people!

If Brisbane starts seeing too many cases per day and this strain is as bad as they say my view is the lockdown may continue. Unfortunately I gather many did not leave correct contact details required making contact tracing impossible.

Well the bracelet activation upon wondering to far , to enforce distancing, is to preserve privacy - need not monitor whereabouts within the designated living space (VIC excepted) , and as for the reference to stepping on a spikey puffy fish - was just a little levity to ward off any trollish comments , my original example wass being eating by a shark , but I thought that was in bad taste ( pun unintended )
